Caring for Creation: The Cry of the Earth
A 55-Week Journey in Weekly Videos from the Peace & Spirituality Center
Co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of Seattle Care for Creation Ministry
Every Monday, you'll be invited to pause with us for a short, meaningful video that reflects on our relationship with Earth—its beauty, its suffering, and our sacred responsibility to care for it. Whether you’re a passionate environmental advocate, curious to learn more, or not quite sure where you stand, this series is for you.
Rooted in the CSJP Land Ethic and inspired by Laudato Si’, each video will offer a blend of spiritual reflection, real-world insight, and a gentle invitation to action. Together, we’ll explore the spiritual, social, and practical dimensions of caring for our common home—one video at a time.
You are warmly welcome to share these videos with others—your community, school, parish, or anyone who might need encouragement to listen to the Earth’s cry. They are created to inspire connection, dialogue, and action across all walks of life.
Because the Earth is crying out.
Will we listen?
All new weekly videos are posted on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. PST.
