Gifts From Our Sisters
One of the greatest joys of sharing life with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace is discovering the many ways they express their faith, creativity, wisdom, and passion for life. While many people know the sisters through their ministries, fewer have the opportunity to experience the countless gifts that emerge from their lives of prayer, service, community, and peace-making.
This collection was created to help share some of those gifts with a wider audience. Within these pages, you will find artwork, prayers, reflections, poetry, stories, leadership insights, floral creations, puzzles, words of wisdom, and other offerings contributed by sisters who have generously agreed to let us showcase a small part of who they are.
To help you explore, we have organized these pages into several themes, including Prayer & Reflection, Art & Creativity, Joy & Wonder, Life & Leadership, and Inspiration & Legacy. Each section highlights different sisters and different gifts, while together offering a glimpse into the richness, diversity, and humanity of our congregation.
We hope these pages bring encouragement, inspiration, beauty, and perhaps even a smile. Most of all, we hope they help you discover what we have long known ourselves: that the sisters have far more gifts than they are usually willing to admit.
What's New This Month?

This Month's Library Book Spotlight
The St. Mary-on-the-Lake Library is lovingly maintained by Sr. Dorothy Verna, CSJP, who oversees the library's collection and helps ensure that this special resource continues to grow and serve our community.
