General Questions

  • We would be delighted to arrange a tour of the center for you. We kindly ask that you call ahead to ensure the campus is open, as this is the Sisters' home, and to confirm that the spaces you'd like to visit are available. We look forward to welcoming you!

  • As the campus primarily serves as the Sisters' home, the Center is open by appointment only. Please feel free to call or email us, and we would be happy to schedule a time for your visit.

  • The Center is available for day retreats Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note, we are closed on Sundays.

Saturdays tend to be our most popular day, so we recommend reserving your date as early as possible to ensure availability.

  • We accept reservations up to a year in advance for weekend events and six months in advance for overnight retreats. We encourage early booking to secure your preferred dates.

  • While we deeply value being a place of peace and reflection, we are unable to accommodate weddings, funerals, parties, or similar events. Our focus remains on providing a tranquil environment for retreats and spiritual growth.

Event Planning Questions

If your event involves setup or catering, please schedule your arrival at least 30 minutes before the start of your event.

  • The Center closes at 5:00pm Monday through Thursday and at 4:00pm Friday and Saturday.

Please schedule your event end time at least 30 minutes prior to close to allow for clean-up.

  • The chapel is not available for drop-in use, as it is part of the Sisters' private residence. Groups may reserve the chapel for a worship service.

Overnight retreatants may use the chapel for prayer during open hours and attend the Sisters’ daily worship services.

  • As a smoke-free facility, we ask that you use only battery operated candles.

  • We ask that you do not use incense.

  • We appreciate knowing the number of attendees prior to your event. The number of guests will impact the suggested donation for the space that you are reserving. It will also impact the set-up you choose (number of tables and chairs).

If the number of attendees changes, we can make adjustments to your invoice and set-up plans if you let us know immediately. We are not able to make changes the day of the event.

  • Should you need to cancel an event, please let us know immediately so that we may make the space available to other guests.

If you have already paid for your event, we will be happy to transfer your payment to a persona. credit which may be applied to a future retreat. All deposits are non-refundable.

Navigation & Parking Questions

  • The Center is centrally located in the greater Seattle area on the shores of Lake Washington in Bellevue. The street address is 1663 Killarney Way in Bellevue, WA. Please see the web page Directions and Map.

  • We ask guests to park in the guest parking lot adjacent to Killarney Way and walk down the path that leads from the parking lot to the Peace and Spirituality Center. This path includes four flights of stairs. The circle drive in front of the Peace and Spirituality Center is a fire lane and is reserved for deliveries and emergency use only. Please do not park in the sisters/staff parking lot. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.

Our guest lot accommodates about 45 vehicles.

  • We have three accessible parking spaces available at the Peace and Spirituality Center. If you have someone in your group who cannot walk down the path from the parking lot, please let us know and we will reserve a parking spot for them. If all the accessible parking is taken, drop that person off at the Peace and Spirituality Center and then park your car in the guest parking lot. Please do not park in the sisters/staff parking lot. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.

  • If you have materials or equipment you may drop them off at the loading zone before parking your car. Please do not park in the sisters/staff parking lot.
