Host a Group Retreat
One of the ways the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace live out their mission of hospitality is by opening their home and grounds to organizations seeking a place for reflection, renewal, learning, and community. The Peace & Spirituality Center was created not only to offer programs of its own, but also to provide a welcoming space where groups can gather, step away from daily demands, and focus on what matters most.
We welcome churches, schools, universities, nonprofits, meditation groups, ministry organizations, and other groups whose purpose aligns with the values of peace, justice, compassion, education, healing, and spiritual growth. Whether you are planning a day-long workshop, a leadership retreat, a planning session, a spiritual gathering, or a multi-day retreat experience, we are happy to explore how the Center may support your goals.
A Note About Retreats and Gatherings
As a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, the Center is intended for retreats, workshops, meetings, educational programs, spiritual gatherings, and other activities that support reflection, learning, community-building, peace, and justice. Because of the Center's mission and purpose, we do not host social events, private celebrations, fundraising events, commercial activities, or recreational gatherings.
Group Retreat Options
Group Day Retreats
The Peace & Spirituality Center can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests across both floors of the Center. Depending on the size and nature of each gathering, we may be able to host multiple groups simultaneously or reserve the entire Center for a single event.
Guests enjoy access to our meeting spaces, chapel (when available), grounds, and peaceful lakeside setting while spending meaningful time together in reflection, learning, planning, and community-building.
Day retreats are available Monday through Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Group Overnight Retreats
For small groups seeking a more immersive experience, overnight retreats offer additional time for rest, reflection, and connection. Because overnight accommodations are located within the sisters’ residence, we welcome smaller groups of up to 8 guests to help preserve a peaceful and restful atmosphere.
Please note that overnight accommodations for men are limited and subject to availability, as the majority of our guestrooms are reserved for female retreatants. We encourage groups that include male participants to contact us early in the planning process to discuss accommodations and availability.

A Note About Availability
We are always happy to answer questions by phone and can often provide a general sense of availability. However, please note that availability cannot be confirmed without the submission of an official online inquiry form.
Because each retreat and event is unique, factors such as group size, room setup, accommodations, scheduling needs, mission fit, and other campus activities must be reviewed before we can determine whether we are able to host a particular gathering. Submitting an inquiry form ensures that we have the information needed to accurately assess your request and provide the most helpful response possible.
