Volunteer With Us

Hospitality at the Center means helping create a warm and peaceful experience for those who come through our doors. This may include greeting guests, assisting with groups and retreats, helping with room setups, preparing coffee and refreshments, and supporting the simple behind-the-scenes tasks that help the day flow smoothly. These roles are not administrative or desk-based, but rather hands-on opportunities to help foster a spirit of welcome and care.

All volunteer opportunities—whether hospitality-based or program-related—help extend the spirit of welcome, prayer, and peace that defines the Peace & Spirituality Center. Because the work of the Center requires consistency and reliability, volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of six months, with one regular shift per week (either a half-day or full-day). This commitment helps ensure that the experience is meaningful for both the volunteer and the community we serve.

If you feel inspired to share your time and gifts with the Peace & Spirituality Center, we would be delighted to hear from you.

If interested, please submit your volunteer application HERE.

Thank you for considering sharing your time and gifts in support of this ministry of peace and hospitality.

The Peace & Spirituality Center is a small team serving a large and growing community. While we do not currently have a formal, structured volunteer program, we are always grateful to hear from individuals who feel drawn to support the mission of the Center.

Many who visit the Center express a desire to give back — to help care for the space and support the welcoming environment that makes this ministry possible. While most of our volunteer opportunities are centered on hospitality, there are also occasional opportunities for those who feel called to support specific programs of the Center.

These may include assisting with our Thursday evening Contemplative Prayer gathering, serving as remote Peace Circle facilitators, or helping support the Sisters’ Tuesday afternoon Peace Prayer livestream.
