Group Overnight Retreats

Group Overnight Retreats at St. Mary-on-the-Lake

Small groups of up to 8 guests are invited to experience the peaceful setting of St. Mary-on-the-Lake through a shared overnight retreat. With additional time for prayer, conversation, reflection, and community, an overnight stay allows participants to step away from daily responsibilities and enter more deeply into the retreat experience.

Guests are welcomed into the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace and stay in peaceful, simple accommodations designed to support rest and renewal. Guestrooms include a combination of private and shared bathrooms, and meals are prepared and served in a spirit of hospitality. During their stay, retreatants are also welcome to enjoy the grounds, Peace Labyrinth, and lakeside setting.

Because accommodations are limited, most guestrooms are designated for single occupancy, with only one room available for couples. Overnight accommodations for men are also limited and subject to availability. We therefore encourage groups to discuss their lodging needs with us as early as possible during the planning process to ensure the best possible guestroom arrangements.

Please note that while lodging is provided within the Sisters' residence, meeting and gathering spaces are located within the Peace & Spirituality Center. Therefore, groups planning presentations, workshops, discussions, prayer services, or other structured retreat activities should plan to reserve meeting space separately through the Center.

Reservations may be made up to six months in advance and are subject to availability. To learn more about guestrooms, meeting spaces, retreat logistics, and suggested donations, please explore the resources below.
